National Park

Located in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh, the park covers an area of 524 square km. Its unique terrain with dense forests, deep ravines, narrow gorges, and sandstone peaks makes it a perfect tourist destination for nature lovers. You might find a large variety of wildlife here which includes bears, black buck, four-horned antelope, fox, giant squirrel, chital, and several species of birds like hornbills and peafowl. A few years back, there were sightings of rare animals like dholes, Indian guar, and barasingha. It takes approximately 4 hours from Bhopal to reach the park and it is well connected to all parts of India by road, rail, and air. October to June is the right time to visit this unique tiger reserve in India.
